Vivien began her career at the Inland Revenue before channelling her energies towards a family business. After developing that business for 15 years, Vivien was looking for a new challenge, and decided to retrain in her area of expertise - accountancy.
A flourishing career has seen Vivien excel in a number of roles, including General Manager of the Scottish operation of a national house-building contractor and Scottish Accountant for CWS Agriculture.
In 2000, Vivien combined her interest in accountancy with her passion for developing family businesses when she joined Insights as Finance Manager. Under her tenure, Insights has enjoyed financial stability, steady growth and has established itself as a globally recognised L&D provider.
In 2013, Vivien was voted Emerging Director of the Year by the IoD Scotland.
As head of the FGGO (Finance, Governance and Global Operations) function, Vivien is responsible for more than 130 members of the Insights company, who all work in service of our clients and offices across the globe. She spends a lot of her time making sure that everyone feels part of the team and knows how their role adds value to the company.
Her wider remit as a Director with responsibility for our finances and global governance, enables her to stay close to the pulse of the business, making sure that all costs are justified and that we're running a profitable business.
